5 Reasons to Live at The HighLine

  |     |   Madison WI

The HighLine Senior Apartments is a wonderful place to call home — and in this month’s blog, we’re sharing the top five reasons our residents love living here. Nestled to the south of Madison, surrounded by the green wonder of Nine Springs Golf Course and Nine Springs Creek, The HighLine provides a luxurious sanctuary for the over-50s to call home, giving them luxury amenities while allowing them to live a fulfilled and independent life!

Luxury Amenities

The HighLine offers access to all the luxury amenities you would expect of a market rate community. Your own 1- to 2-bedroom home is thoughtfully designed for comfort and convenience in a modern setting. You can enjoy central air conditioning, a private balcony, oversized closets, and a full-size, in-unit side-by-side washer/dryer. Your home is also internet-ready and features stainless steel appliances, a microwave, a garbage disposal, and beautiful granite countertops. With water and heat also included, everyday living is hassle-free.

Beyond your own living space, The HighLine also provides residents with access to a fitness center, a library, secure underground parking, and a convenient package center/mail room. Located on a bus line for easy transportation, the community also features electronic vehicle charging stations, an access-controlled entry system, and environmentally conscious touches like solar panels and green built certification. Best of all, we are pet-friendly, so your four-legged companions are welcome too!

Your Social Calendar

We pride ourselves on putting community at the heart of what we do, so we also provide residents with a variety of activities every month! Updated each month, activities range from exercise and fitness classes, bingo and art classes, to seasonal activities such as potluck dinners and cookouts in warmer weather! All residents are encouraged and welcome to join, and it's a fantastic way to get to know your neighbors and build your community whilst living at The High Line Senior.

Location Location Location

Our apartments are set amongst a thriving community of local shops, restaurants, local links, and wonderful outside spaces to explore. Local restaurants such as Tapatios Cocina Mexicana and Great Dane Pub & Brewing Co. provide a great place to meet friends and family and are within walking distance of The HighLine. Fitchburg also has some great shopping experiences, and The HighLine is less than a mile from the Fitchburg Ridge Shopping Center.

If you want more of an excursion, we are also only a 20-minute walk from Hatchery Hill Towne Center. The HighLine is surrounded by an array of green spaces to enjoy. Just a short drive away is the University of Wisconsin–Madison Arboretum, with trails to explore in all seasons. If you wish to walk from home, the Nevin Springs Fish and Wildlife Area provides local trails and lakes to enjoy.

On-Site Teams

We know our residents want peace of mind — knowing that if something comes up at The HighLine, help is close by. That’s why we take pride in having a dedicated, in-house professional management and maintenance team. Because our team is on-site and familiar with the community, maintenance requests are handled promptly and efficiently. If you ever have questions, concerns, or suggestions, our management team is always here — ready to listen and committed to making your experience at The HighLine the best it can be.

A Luxury Affordable Community

The HighLine is an income-restricted, affordable housing community with the upscale lifestyle and amenities typically found in non-affordable communities. It allows residents to enjoy independence, community living, and top-rate amenities, while also feeling safe and supported in their surroundings.
